Our Programs
Our goal is to connect parents, schools, policymakers, and elected officials to make collaborative decisions that ensure all students have access to great education in DC. We accomplish this through a two-pronged approach:
Community Engagement and Organizing
PAVE connects parents through a citywide advocacy network, informs parents about the inner workings of DC’s education system, and empowers parent leaders and partners to collaborate with policymakers on decisions that impact their children.
School Engagement and Partnerships
PAVE supports family and community engagement staff at DC schools and agencies and provides resources for team reflection, team building, peer learning, and best practice sharing, all designed to elevate parent voice in education.
