DCPVCW is a week-long event where parent leaders invite and meet with DC’s elected leaders including the the Mayor, At-Large and Ward-based Councilmembers and the Council Chairperson, and policymakers like the Deputy Mayor for Education.

At PAVE, we believe you cannot have true choice WITHOUT parents having a voice, so parent leaders chair  meetings,  write their own questions for decision makers on their #PolicyPriorities, and parents share their stories and perspectives with the people chosen to represent them.

We know that the #PurpleWave will be present this year as parent leaders  come together in community to share their vision for their 2023-2024 #ParentPriorities: Safe Passage to School and Specialized School Programs!
