You've seen the campaign posters on lampposts, candidate postcards arriving in your mailbox, heard the door knocking, and maybe even received some phone calls. All of this action can only mean one thing...election season is upon us!
What is #Vote4DCKids?
#Vote4DCKids is a parent-led campaign to put our children at the center of one of our most important rights, because OUR VOICE = OUR VOTE!
As the early-voting period (Monday, October 31st through Sunday, November 6th) and In-Person Election Day (Tuesday, November 8th) rapidly approach, we want to ensure that DC residents are informed on:
We also want our elected officials to make decisions on education by putting families and children FIRST, particularly those who are Black, Brown, or low-income. This is what the #Vote4DCKids campaign is all about!
Now more than ever it’s so important for parents - who know their kids best - to demonstrate the power of their VOICE through their VOTE, and DC needs strong leaders that will fight for kids and families at each and every stage of their lives and education.
Note: As a 501c3, PAVE does not endorse any candidates.
PAVE parent leaders commit to #Vote4DCKidsto ensure our kids, families, schools, and city are safe, empowered, and able to thrive - and that our leaders keep families at the center of their decision making.

This election season, remember that you can vote for 2 candidates in the At-Large Councilmember race. At-Large candidates represent DC as a whole. AMPLIFY your voice by making sure to use both of your votes in the At-Large race!
