TODAY'S ACTION ITEMS:

Why #Vote4DCKids?

Now more than ever it’s so important for parents - who know their kids best - to demonstrate the power of their VOICE through their VOTE.

DC needs strong leaders that will fight for kids and families at each and every stage of their lives and education.

That’s what the #Vote4DCKids movement is all about: DC residents making their voice heard, including knowing how to vote, where to vote, and who is on the ballot

PAVE parent leaders commit to #Vote4DCKids to ensure our kids, families, schools, and city are safe, empowered, and able to thrive - and that our leaders keep families at the center of their decision making.

We can’t wait to #SquadUp with DC parents and community members to get out the vote for DC’s future: our children. Commit to #Vote4DCKids today and read on for more information on voting in the June 2022 Primary in DC

Note: As a 501c3, PAVE does not endorse any candidates.

Representative John Lewis (1940 - 2020)

In the 2020 primary election, DC Voters who committed to #Vote4DCKids voted at a MUCH higher rate than DC overall!

  • About 60% of the 1,246 DC parents who committed to #vote4DCKids cast their ballots compared to the 26.1% of all DC voters
  • And 260 parents who committed to #Vote4DCKids had not previously voted in the past three primary elections!
